It is easy to define Gardasolar: we are the pioneers of electric mobility in Italy. Explaining what we do in just a few lines, however, is a harder task. This is because when we talk about sustainability we also talk about innovation, evolution, research, we talk about products and services that are in constant development and transformation. So, we’re never the same as we were yesterday.
We started out as manufacturers of Made in Italy electric boats, but we have also become designers of sustainable entertainment experiences, e-bikes distributors, electrical retrofit systems makers, and consultants for shipyards and tourism businesses.

A fleet that grows every day.
We started off with the GOGO Boats, electric boats that are unique in their modern design and intuitive manoeuvrability for everyone. At GardaSolar, however, you will find much more. The Microwatt, for example, is an electric boat with a more traditional design, which this year will see two renovated versions, larger and with optimised space. And the Miniports, safe and colourful mini-boats for children, perfect for small seaside resorts or water parks.
2021 was the year that saw the birth of Dogado 1600 E, the wooden boat created in collaboration with FAP – Falegnameria Artigiana Pesce – which amazed an international audience at the Venice Boat Show. Also in 2021, demonstrating that even in the darkest times work remains our lifeline, the new GardaSolar pedal boats were introduced. Traditional, with pedal assistance or with an autonomous electric motor – a wide range of choices to meet the needs of tourism entrepreneurs, driven to change in line with an increasingly sustainable but equally frenetic market.
From land to sea
Knowing that sustainability must be experienced in all its forms has led us to invest in electric vehicles for tourism too. Selected by trusted partners, our e-bikes, electric golf cars and Minisafaris are the GardaSolar‘s items designed to offer tourism entrepreneurs new ways to rethink their services, more easily attract new visitors and recoup their investment in a short amount of time. Even in just one season.
Sustainable experiences
Certain that electric mobility is fully achieved when it does not stop at the individual vehicle, we thought we would go a step further. That is, to find a way for our products and services to dialogue in new, sustainable and healthy spaces.
It is from this thought that GardaSolar’s idea of sustainable amusement parks took form. We offer entrepreneurs our experience as planners. Our references? If you’re passing through Trentino, you can’t miss Lake Molveno: the businesses here were the first to believe in our formula, creating with us a simple and sustainable tourism experience which revolves around a boat hire, a mini-golf course and a Mini-Safari track, all in an amazing and unique setting.
Technology for third parties, as if it were for us
In over 11 years of experience in the industry, thanks to the inventiveness of our CEO Alberto Pozzo and our partners, we have developed a reliable, efficient and 100% Made in Italy technology. Starting this year, we will make our electrical technology available to boatyards, OEMs, contractors, designers and boat makers.
A range of solutions that, at its core, has the powertrains — the real beating heart of GardaSolar’s electric navigation. The package, however, also includes electric Retrofit kits, Gardenergy electric outboard motors, and Plug&Play kits for pedal-assisted pedal boats. We designed all this with a clear objective in mind: to help entrepreneurs renew their fleets while reducing waste through a smart and sustainable investment.
And tomorrow?
We don’t know where we will be tomorrow, but we do know that we will always be one step ahead of today. Working to achieve sustainability means questioning ourselves every day, testing new technologies, creating with our competitors a dialogue that is peaceful and positive for everyone.
