The reality of artisanal craftsman shops is deeply rooted here in Italy. Small, hyper-specialised businesses that seek above all excellence of form with great respect for tradition. At GardaSolar, we wanted to change this so we took a different direction. Electric mobility is an innovative sector and needs a broader, more competitive outlook, able to evolve easily along with technology and market demands.
That is why we chose to employ a more industrial and process efficiency oriented logic, with a year-by-year plan. We were right: in 2021 we continued to grow and today, after a first relocation to the Polo Meccatronica in Rovereto, we are continuing to look for new spaces and new employees. Limits and labels feel tight for us.
We are not shipwrights. We are not ‘just’ a construction site or mere consultants. On the Italian scene, we are a unique company with a broad and diversified vision on sustainable energy for tourism, and more. We believe in a ductile, versatile and strictly collaborative idea of electric mobility. A kind of electric mobility that’s capable of evolving with the needs of the market. This awareness is the common thread that connects all our activities, from boat production to third-party technology. And we continue to improve.
Industrial Know-how, International Goals.
Driving us is a medium to long term growth industrial project. Each step in the manufacturing process of our boats is optimised and this know-how has become our defining feature. We manufacture our components in-house, using industrial printing and rotational machinery. But not just that. In house we also develop software and hardware solutions. Being complete, in short, is our distinguishing feature which gives us pride and a sense of belonging.
We are currently the only company in Italy that can offer both a complete range of electric boats – from pedal boats to boats up to 10 metres – and the technology needed for shipyards to motorise their fleets. Beyond the business plan, we are excited by the idea that our offer can cover every eventuality and reach not only the tourist entrepreneur, but also boatyards and boat manufacturers at an international level. The big challenge has been to support all this with a matching quality customer service. But going beyond the limits of the local area, and thanks to suppliers and key figures located throughout the territory, we are now able to offer maintenance, sales and post-sales services throughout Europe.
We also offer communication services, guaranteed by the in-house marketing department, which takes care of customising the livery of the boats as well as promotional activities for the partners who choose us. Services upon services, opportunities upon opportunities. The growth of our customers is also our growth and confirmation that with sustainability you can and must do business.
